Volkswagen Australia has turned the country's roads into a theme park for the Amarok V6 W600, the ute engineered with Walkinshaw. Bernbach's 'Walkinshaw World' renames real roads as rides on targeted outdoor, so Sydney's Pacific Motorway becomes 'The Big Dipper'.
AI planned the routes. Bernbach's tool scanned the roads around every dealership for gradient, curvature and landmarks, then a route near each was chosen, and more than 100 attractions were named by hand.
Where AI sat: The agency developed an AI-powered mapping tool to explore Australia’s national road network and identify hundreds of suitable routes within a specific radius of each Volkswagen dealership. — LBB
Walkinshaw World is a creative way of celebrating the diverse roads Australians drive every day and showcasing the confidence, performance and driving experience that define the W600.
Today in Creative AI
Canva released Craft, its first image model, on October 22. Craft plans the layout before it renders, which Canva says puts text where it should be, and makes 2K images in more than 30 aspect ratios with text in 55 languages.
Its training data includes millions of Canva's own templates, and Magic Layers turns the output into editable elements. Faster versions are still to come.

Webinar: Running Agents in Customer Work
Agents used to answer questions. Now they're issuing refunds, updating accounts, and closing tickets end to end. Running Agents in Customer Work is a series of 30-minute conversations with the people building, buying, and living with agentic AI in customer operations. No pitch, no product walkthrough.
Two live sessions left: Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, 10 a.m. PT. Register now.
The Read
Bernbach's tool found the roads, and people named the rides. Craft is built for what comes next: text-heavy layouts in many sizes.
The idea earns it. Bernbach creative director Steve Hey saw that ute drivers spend most of their time on the road, so the campaign makes the road the product.
For brands: Hand AI the search and keep the naming. The ride names are what the outdoor sells.
For agencies: Test Craft on one real sign system this month, and check every line of text before the client does.
Tool Review → Granola
Granola writes meeting notes from your device's audio, with no bot joining the call. Basic is free with 30 days of history, and Business is $14 a user a month for unlimited history, follow-up emails and Notion, HubSpot and Zapier integrations.
A rollout to every dealership means many client calls, and Granola's AI chat searches across them. Salesforce and admin controls need Enterprise, at $35 a user.
Worth it if your account team lives on calls. Skip it if your clients won't allow call transcription.
