A shot-for-shot parody of OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra launch film from September 4. It copies the flashing yellow open and the cast of frictionless people, then pulls back to show them all on the toilet, ending on a one-tap Goodwipes reorder. The Drum reports it was made in four days.

Where AI sat: AI helped compress the production timeline, but it also took a talented, quick-thinking human team to get it on screen while the joke was fresh. — The Drum

What matters is whether an idea feels right for Goodwipes and gives us a natural way into culture. When it does, we want to be able to move quickly and make it happen.

AI-R Studio, the AI and hybrid production arm of Mexico's Pico.Love OS, won Higgsfield's Adathon, announced at Brandweek in Atlanta on Wednesday. The month-long contest, run with Adweek, asked teams to take an idea to a finished spot.

Mariam Asmar, head of B2B marketing at Higgsfield, named the target: "Anyone who has worked in agency new business knows how much has to happen before a single frame gets made: the deck, the approvals, the sign-offs, the rounds of refinement before anything ever ships,"

The prize compresses that.

Every headline satisfies an opinion. Except ours.

Remember when the news was about what happened, not how to feel about it? 1440's Daily Digest is bringing that back. Every morning, they sift through 100+ sources to deliver a concise, unbiased briefing — no pundits, no paywalls, no politics. Just the facts, all in five minutes. For free.

The Read

A contest and a wet wipes brand argue the same thing from opposite ends. The expensive part of reactive work was never the shoot, it was the fortnight of selling the idea first. Goodwipes did it in four days, while the launch film was still being talked about. Nobody claims the output is better. They claim it exists, which the slower version would not.

For brands: Pick one cultural moment a quarter and pre-agree who can approve a response inside 72 hours. Production is already solved. The approval chain is what you are fixing.

For agencies: Time your next reactive job and publish the number. Four days is a benchmark clients have now read about, and agencies who cannot say theirs will be assumed slower.

A rewriting and paraphrasing engine with grammar checking and Word and Chrome integration, free tier, premium from $9.95 a month. On a job like the Goodwipes parody it earns its place in the middle: you have the line and you need fifteen versions of it for cutdowns and captions, fast. The honest limit is that it cannot start anything, because it works by rewriting source text, and the output leans on synonym swaps, so it often reads stilted. Worth it for variants, not for ideas.
